The LifeSpan TR3000i folding treadmill is durable, reliable, and loaded with valuable features, helping you walk, jog, or run with confidence in the comfort of your own home. The award-winning treadmill’s pleasing design includes safe and convenient handlebar controls, which let you control your speed and incline without ever removing your hands from the handlebars. As a result, you can run or walk without fear of losing your concentration or balance while adjusting your pace. The TR3000i is also built for comfort and power, with a 2.75-horsepower motor, 2.5-inch rollers, a spacious 20-by-56-inch running surface, and a biomechanically sound deck suspension system that supports people up to 350 pounds. And to help you track your workout progress, the treadmill automatically saves your exercise data to your USB storage device. Once the info is saved, you can upload it to your personal online LifeSpan Fitness Club account, giving you access to exercise programs and detailed reports of your exercise and health results.
The multicolored LCD console tracks your time, distance, calories, and more. |
The centerpiece of the TR3000i, however, is the multicolored LCD console, which offers several simultaneous readouts and exercise programs to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. The display tracks your time, calories, distance, steps, heart rate, speed, and incline level, with large soft-touch keys helping you get started and control your momentum. More importantly, the console offers a variety of preset workout programs that help you vary your exercise routine–a critical factor for people trying to get in shape. Many of the workout programs on the TR3000i are grouped by exercise motivation, so you can quickly choose a workout that’s right for you. The program categories include weight loss (choose from steady pace, long slow distance, cardio run, short interval, or uphill walk); healthy living (with uphill climb, pyramid climb, plateau climb, ladder, and uphill interval options); and sports training (with seven programs designed to help you train for an upcoming sporting event).
In addition to the preset programs, the treadmill offers two My Zone heart rate control programs and two custom programs. The My Zone Constant program keeps your heart rate at a constant level–thereby using your heart rate as a fitness tool–while the My Zone Interval program lets you enter your own minimum and maximum hear rate. As you exercise, the treadmill speed and incline will automatically adjust to keep your heart rate at the preferred level. By contrast, the custom programs are fully adaptable to your favored workout formula. That’s because you’re in charge of setting the speed and incline level for each of the 20 program segments, and then saving them for future use.
As a bonus, when you purchase a LifeSpan TR3000i treadmill, you automatically receive a membership for the LifeSpan Fitness Club. This comprehensive online health management program, powered by the Interactive Health Partner, lets you select exercise programs, track and manage your fitness and health results, and receive motivating support as you work toward achieving your goals. The LifeSpan Fitness Club is easy to use: each time you work out on the TR3000i, the treadmill automatically saves your exercise results on your LifeSpan USB storage device. Because the USB device is personalized with your age, gender, and weight, not only do you bypass setup screens, you also receive accurate calorie calculations based on your data. Every 20 seconds during your workout, the console will then record your heart rate, minutes, miles, steps, and calories. After your workout, you simply upload your results to your personalized online account on your computer using the USB device. You’ll then have access to a full set of detailed reports and fun facts that you can analyze or share with friends, family, fitness coaches, or physicians.
Other details include a set of built-in speakers and a headphone plug-in, making it easy to listen to music as you walk or run; a large front safety bar that’s designed and positioned for easy access; an EZ Drop folding design that lowers the treadmill deck to the ground softly and lightly; and an Intelli-Guard automatic safety pause that stops the treadmill belt from moving when no one is walking or running on the treadmill.
The treadmill includes a folding frame with an automatic EZ Drop system. |

pretty good,
We have had one for a couple of months.
Pros: Smaller than most treadmills we have limited space and it fit nicely. Relatively quiet in a small room. Heavy base means less movement. Display shows basic usable information, clear and easy to read.
Cons: Program buttons can be confusing. Nothing to show on the unit what each program does so I hunt an peck to find one then I really can’t tell based on the display what it is going to do. It is starting to rattle a little when running on it. I am 150lbs and my wife is 100lbs so we don’t really stress it. We both run and walk my average speed is 5.5. Have tripped the circuit breaker a couple of times when it started up. I think it might be too small for a very large person. Someone said the side rails are too far apart and I would agree but I rarely use them. If you were using the heartrate on the side rails it would be a problem.
Serves basic functionality well, the real test is how it running 10 years from now.

|nice and quiet.,
I just got done doing 4 miles on this treadmill, and I can’t see any flaws yet in it. My wife is a very light sleeper, and it didn’t wake her, so this is a good thing!

|Awesome machine! Exactly what I wanted.,
First of all, I should start by saying that I originally brought the TR1200i machine on Amazon for $1049; however a few days later I got a call from Lifespan to let me know that there was a parts shortage on the TR1200i and thus I would not be able to get that machine for 6 weeks. As consolation Lifespan upgraded me to this machine so I wouldn’t have to wait so long for free – so I just wanted to give BIG KUDOS to Lifespan. A++++++ Customer Service!!!!!
Now as for the actual machine – simply awesome. It was a breeze to put together. From start to finish no more than 45 minutes.
The machine itself runs very quiet and is sooooo smooth. It is comparable and in my opinion and better than most of the treadmills I have used at public gyms over the years.
As an added bonus there are speakers built into the treadmill so you came play your music out loud while you run.
The machine is soooooo configurable. There are a ton of preprogrammed running programs and other goodies that I am still learning how to use. There are also controls on the handles to adjust speed and incline – very very convenient as I like to mix things up and it is nice not having to reach to the console. As for the console, it is visually pleasing and does not overwhelm the senses, however it is still fairly high tech. I liked it. It is very evident right from the get go that there is a ton of neat technology built into this machine – again nice job by Lifespan!!!!
So far I have gone for three runs, and I have zero complaints.
Anyway If you have the cash and are looking for a great treadmill I cannot recommend this model enough.

|Meets Our Needs,
After WAY too much research for a treadmill that would best suit our lifestyle and what we hoped to accomplish, we decided to purchase the LifeSpan TR100 treadmill. We have been meaning to get back into a cardio regimen to support a healthier lifestyle and aimed to get something simple. We are not marathon runners, nor are we training for any type of athletic competition. We are starved for time and have become a little to sedentary, and we both came to the conclusion that we should keep up with a good walking routine for our health. We did not need all the bells and whistles that other treadmills come equipped with. This machine has everything we need and nothing we do not. It counts your calories burned and continuous heart rate throughout. Plus, the console uses a bright blue screen, which is very easy to read and the program display is VERY nice to see how far along you are in your program.
There is virtually no assembly required. All we had to do was take it out of the packaging and unfold it, simple as that. The unit is about 30 inches wide, and only 11 inches in height when folded up. We set it up in our bedroom, so there is no excuse for skipping a workout in the morning or the evening. It is so space friendly. We keep it set up unless we have company or other things going on, so we simply fold it up and place it under our bed. The unit is heavier than we both expected, but the wheel mounted frame makes it easy to slide and assemble. While this unit is very quiet, largely due to the fact that we just speed walk on it, the stability of the machine was the biggest surprise as the console does not shake like other treadmills we tested at Sears. We are very happy with our purchase and it is serving us well.

|very compact,
I bought this for my wife to use in our den area and wanted a treadmill that she could move out of the way when it is not being used. This was the MAJOR feature for us as my wife has a few kids that she watches during the day and we did not want the treadmill out for the kids to play around. It works out great for us as we have the bi-fold doors in the den where we have our washer and dryer and it is VERY easy to fold, move and then store.
CEVA was the company that delivered the treadmill. I was not home so they put the treadmill in the garage for my wife and I took the treadmill down on a hand truck when I got home. We have a split level so only have the flight down to the den area. if you are going up stairs or more than one flight you will need another person to help. Assembly was the best part…there was none as the treadmill is fully assembled inside the box. I cut the back of the box out and just wheeled the treadmill out of the box and plugged it in.
My wife loves the fact that she can walk at home now in the mornings, watch the Today Show and get here exercise in before the kids arrive. She is very happy which means i am very happy. So far it seems to be a very good value and met our needs of being able to store in the closet.

|Pleasantly surprised,
I used my new machine for the first time yesterday and was very happy with it. I had owned a very complex machine for 15 years and the simplicity of this one is a welcomed change.
It is easy to fold up and put away. I have not tried to get it under a bed. Not sure it is really going to fit but it’s easy to tuck into a corner.
I really like that all the important stats are right in front of me all the time. No buttons to move from calories to mileage to pulse…it’s all there in front of me as I walk. I even did a light run and it was great.
